New York Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang suffered a right shoulder strain in yesterdays game and is now placed on the disabled list. Things have just not been going well this year for the right hander.
Jorge Posada new as soon as Chien-Ming Wang delivered the pitch that he was hurting in his arm, so he called time to come out and check up on Wang. Then that’s when the pitching came took place. He has already suffered from a hip injury and has missed several games earlier in the year, and now he is suffering from a shoulder strain, bursitis.
Joe Girardi is not completely sure how long Wang will be out for and it’s still not clear on who will fill Wangs spot in the rotation next Thursday. In the game Saturday, Wang allowed four runs on six hits before he was taken out in the sixth inning.
