The newest transfer news from Real Madrid is Spanish Primera Liga big-spenders Real Madrid have crimed their squad after their summer transfer splurge by completing the sales of Wesley Sneijder to Inter Milan and Dutchmen Arjen Robben to Bayern Munich.

Robben, 25, has moved to Bundesliga for an undisclosed expense on a four year contract, while Sneijder has already joined the Italian Serie A champions also on a four-year contract for a reported 15 million euros ($ 22 million). Both players will use the number 10 jerseys for their new teams.

Robben could make his first performance in Saturday’s mouth-watering clash with German champions Wolfsburg, with Louis van Gaal as Bayern coach telling the club’s official web site that he was very happy to have another creative player. According to his opinion, Arjen is a very explosive player.

Robben said that Bayern had “given me a good feeling” from the moment they first told about their interest in signing him.

He said to the club’s web site that he feels very welcome there. He also said that that is a big club with a great history and he is delighted to be there now.

Robben’s chances to be a regular in Real’s star-studded side turned up to have decreased when Christiano Ronaldo and Kaka were both signed this summer, but the former Chelsea winger seemed keen to stay at the Bernabeu.

That was until Bayern firmed up their interest and gave him the opportunity to play on a more regular basis.

The two Dutchmen are the last in a long line of players to leave Madrid this summer in the wake of the club’s phenomenal spending spree that has seen them splash out over 250 million euros ($357 m) on players such as Karim Benzema, Kaka, Xavi Alonso, and Ronaldo.
