Kim Clijsters became the first mother to win the Tennis US Open 2009 grand slam tournament after the last time Evonne Goolagong in 1980.

Kim Clijsters, tennis players from Belgium become US Open 2009 champion in women category by beating Danish tennis player, Caroline Wozniacki,in the final with two sets 7-5 6-3, Sunday (14 / 9).

Rain stopped the duel between Rafael Nadal vs Fernando Gonzalez in the quarter-finals of the U.S. Open 2009, Thursday 10 September 2009 at 20:24 local time. This is the first in the tournament.

Unlike Djokovic Last Year

Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic trying to improve its image in the current U.S. public beating Croatia, Ivan Ljubičić 6-3 6-1 6-3 in the first round of U.S. Open.

Last year, Djokovic became public enemy number one because of his behavior. He clashed with the U.S. public’s favorite player, Andy Roddick and then blame the semifinal game schedule that caused his defeat against Roger Federer.

“What happened last year, for me as a fight with our own girlfriends,” said Djokovic. “Everything has happened, we can simply take a lesson from him. I always feel at home here and can play well in the last three years.”

By the U.S. Open, Djokovic had been well prepared, including public sympathy by entering the name of former U.S. tennis player, Todd Martin in the team. Martin is a popular player in the U.S.. He twice qualified for the final grand slam tournament and often accompany the U.S. Davis Cup team.

“Todd is a former tennis player in the world’s best five. He played in two grand slam tournament finals and is highly respected in the world of tennis. It helped my game in its own way,” Djokovic said again.
