Valentino Rossi Win in San Marino Moto Grand Prix 2009
Italian racer, Valentino Rossi appeared dominant to overcome the main competitor, Jorge Lorenzo and won the San Marino Grand Prix 2009 race on Sunday.
Eight times world champion, Valentino Rossi was in the finish followed by Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa in third place. This victory makes Rossi collected 237 points and lead over 30 points from Lorenzo. Pedrosa was in the top three standings with 157 points and ahead of former world champion, Casey Stoner.
“At first I was quite hard and difficult because the race started badly,” said Rossi who took pole position. “But then it all ended well.”
“I’ve tried everything I can now surpassed Dani (Pedrosa). But Valentino was number one for this weekend.” Said Lorenzo.
“Lorenzo and Rossi too fast for me. Hopefully next time I am better,” said Pedrosa.

MotoGP Practice Session 1: Rossi Ahead of Lorenzo and Pedrosa
