Ramirez To Return On Friday

After the long 50 game suspension, Manny Ramirez will be returning to the big leagues where he belongs after violating the leagues drug policy which was the bone head move on his part.
Manny’s return will be on the July 4th weekend which will most likely be sold out. It’s also a great day for his return to the Dodgers.
“I didn’t kill nobody, I didn’t rape nobody, so that’s it, I’m just going to come and play the game,” Ramirez said. (Quotes gathered from espn)
If you watch the game against the San Diego Padres and when Manny takes the field or at bat, you will be hearing boos I can promise you that. Manny will need to try and earn all of his respect from his baseball fans and I think he will. I’m predicting a 2-for-4 night against the Padres. Yes, I am that confident in the dreadlocked slugger.

Mark Buehrle Throws Perfect Game VS Rays

The magnificent catch by White Sox center fielder Dewayne Wise gave teammate Mark Buehrle the boost of his no hitter against the Tampa Bay Rays. Buehrle pitched a perfect game and became the 17th player in MLB history to pitch a perfect game.
Top of the ninth inning with a 2-2 count with no outs, Rays right fielder Gabe Kapler belted one to center but was robbed by Wise. Michel Hernandez then stepped out and struck out swinging which gave Buehrle one out away from the no hitter. Then Jason Bartlett grounded out to short stop and that’s when everyone surrounded Wise and Buehrle to congratulate them.

Yankees Place Chien-Ming Wang On DL

New York Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang suffered a right shoulder strain in yesterdays game and is now placed on the disabled list. Things have just not been going well this year for the right hander.
Jorge Posada new as soon as Chien-Ming Wang delivered the pitch that he was hurting in his arm, so he called time to come out and check up on Wang. Then that’s when the pitching came took place. He has already suffered from a hip injury and has missed several games earlier in the year, and now he is suffering from a shoulder strain, bursitis.

Zimmerman Stretches Hit Streak To 28 Games

Ryan Zimmerman pushed his hitting streak to 28 games but the Nationals still failed to produce a win against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Zimmerman finished with a double and two singles.
On the other side for the Diamondbacks, they came into this game batting .226 as a team overall and they finished with six players with two hits a piece. That was a big impact in the loss to Arizona.
Arizona snapped Washington’s four game win streak last night. The offense for the Nationals were not the problem, it was just the awful pitching.
