Artest Lands In L.A.

July 3, 2009 by: Sport News

Ron Artest has just recently announced that he will be a Los Angeles Lakers. Artest was recently a free agent after he was released from the Houston Rockets after a decent season, carrying the Rockets to the playoffs.

Artest sent a text message to ESPN and the message said something like how happy he was to be heading to Los Angeles. Artest is estimated to receive around $18 million to play for L.A. and I think they would have no hesitation in offering to Artest because they can really use him. In an interview with Artest last week, he stated that he was upset that the Rockets did not try and keep him on the team and were in such of a rush to just get rid of him.

Ron Artest has been through a lot in his NBA career and what he wants most is a ring. If he joins this ball club in L.A, I can almost promise you he will get one.
